Winter fuel payment support
If you were born before 23 September 1958 you could get either £200 or £300 to help you pay your heating bills for winter 2024 to 2025. This is known as a ‘Winter Fuel Payment’. You may be eligible if you or your partner get certain benefits.

Wallace House Community Larder
At Wallace House, we have a Community Larder where we redistribute surplus food and sandwiches donated by local supermarkets and food suppliers. The Larder has moved location and can be accessed through the courtyard, it's open to all of the community between 12 -1 pm, Tuesday & Friday.

Kids eating you out of house and home? Here at Hungry Horse, we like to do everything we can to make your life a little easier, that’s why every Monday we have selected kids’ meals for just £1 and larger meals for only £1.50 with every full paying adult. *T&Cs apply.

Universal Credit advance payment
If you need help to pay your bills or cover other costs while you wait for your first Universal Credit payment, you can apply to get an advance. The most you can get as an advance is the amount of your first estimated payment.
